Did you see Jon Stewart on Monday? (First installment of "Evolution, Schmevolution" -- I love it!) He had on this guy, who looked to be 12 years old, who wrote a book called "The Republican War on Science." Basic theory: The Republicans don't want science to work, they want to discredit it, they want fundamentalist religion to win. So, it ain't just the stem cells.
